Lake Cumberland Area Development District

Welcome to the Lake Cumberland Area Development District serving the Counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, Taylor and Wayne. The Lake Cumberland Area Development District is a quasi-governmental agency working with city government, county government, and special districts within the ten county Lake Cumberland region to improve the quality of life for the region’s citizens.

The mission of the Lake Cumberland Area Development District is to provide a regional forum to local governments and citizens in order to identify issues and opportunities and to then provide leadership in planning and implementing projects and programs to improve the quality of life within the district. LCADD serves ten member counties: Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, Taylor and Wayne. Lake Cumberland Area Development District is located in south-central Kentucky.


CDBG Survey

The Department for Local Government, Office of Federal Grants, is developing the Five-Year Consolidated Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and your help is needed. In order to better assess needs and determine funding priorities, your input as local officials, administrators, and citizens is needed.

KENTUCKY COUNCIL OF AREA DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Kentucky Council of Area Development Districts (KCADD) seeks applicants for its position of Executive Director. The KCADD Headquarters is located in Frankfort just blocks from the State Capitol.

The KCADD is a statewide alliance of the 15 Area Development Dstricts (ADDs). The KCADD serves to strengthen Kentucky’s ADDs, enhance regional economic prosperity, and improve the consistency and quality of ADD programs to ensure they add value to Commonwealth, regional, and local initiatives. For over 40 years, the ADDs have been a catalyst of change in almost all aspects of life throughout the Commonwealth and in its individual regions. By working in concert with federal and state officials, and the Commonwealth’s local government shareholders, and its private and nonprofit sector partners, ADDs and KCADD have worked with the sole intent of serving Kentuckians.
