Ombudsman Program PDF Print E-mail

The Ombudsman program provides advocacy to residents of long-term care facilities in the Lake Cumberland Area.  The local program is one of 15 statewide, with three regional and on state Ombudsman completing the structure.  We assist residents, family members and staff with concerns and complaints regarding resident care, residents' right, physician services, or reimbursement.  Complaints and inquires are made via our toll free phone number, in person, by mail or email.  Services include investigation of complaints and in-services for staff to educate regarding federal and state laws as they pertain to residents.
