The Lake Cumberland Area Development District's Workforce Development Program is a customer-driven organization led by a Workforce Investment Board. The Board is appointed to oversee Workforce Investment Act (WIA) programs in our member counties. We serve 13 counties in South Central Kentucky through four Cumberlands Workforc Network Career Centers.

As fiscal agent and the administrative entity for workforce activities in the Cumberlands Workforce Investment Area we distributes funds and leverages additional resources to meet workforce needs wherever they exist, and strive to exceed federal performance standards. Our mission is to remove barriers and align programs and services to achieve and sustain economic prosperity.
